Driving in the EU is a Piece of Cake 🍰

Most of our underwriters offer the minimum level of cover required to drive in the EU.

Please consult your certificate of insurance to confirm the number of days your underwriter offers and the level of cover you have when in the EU.

Following a change in EU law, you no longer need a Green Card when traveling to most countries in the EU!

However, we do need some information about your travel plans to inform your insurer before you go on your journey (see below). 🌍 It's also important to note that you must bring your certificate of motor insurance and V5 document with you during your trip. πŸ“„

  • Departure Date:

  • Return Date:

  • Reason for Travel:

  • Who will be Driving:

  • Destination (please list all countries you will be traveling through):

  • Are you Towing Anything?:

To provide this information please message a member of our live chat team and they will handle the rest πŸ™

Please be aware, there are still a few countries that may require a Green Card 🫀

  • Albania

  • Azerbaijan

  • Belarus

  • Moldova

  • Russia

  • Turkey

  • Ukraine

This will depend on whether you have EU Cover on your policy and/or whether you have exhausted your EU days.

If you are travelling to any of these countries please speak with a member of our live chat team who will be able to advise as to whether you need a green card or not πŸ˜‡
