What is EU Driving Cover? 💥
Most of our insurers include the minimum level of cover required by law to drive your vehicle in the EU. This typically includes third-party cover while abroad. ✈️
To confirm the number of days you’re covered and the exact level of cover, check your Certificate of Insurance 📄.
Do I Need a Green Card? 🟩
🆕 Good news – you no longer need a Green Card to drive in most EU countries.
However, you do need to notify us before your trip so we can inform your insurer.
If you're travelling to any of the following countries, a Green Card may still be required:
Albania
Azerbaijan
Belarus
Moldova
Russia
Turkey
Ukraine
📝 Your insurer will determine this based on your policy cover and the number of EU travel days remaining.
