Yes! Your policy covers you third party only for towing provided that the trailer is attached to the vehicle. 

This means that you will be covered against any third party damage you might cause while towing a trailer.  The trailer itself is not covered under the policy unless this was added at point of sale so any damage to the trailer will not be covered under the policy.
